Handmade Dagger Trench Knife

Black Handle Double Edged Trench Knife / Knuckle Duster Knife -
This Trench knife is based on those from World War One, It is quite a traditional design, and works better when used in stabbing hammer blow type strike but can be used either way,
The size will fit medium hands, but will just about fit large hands with a bit of a squeeze.
Features Oval finger holes and a comfortable curved palm rest, the weight is reasonably low due to the handle being made of Aluminium, it is actually 4 sections of  3mm aluminium that are glued and bolted together in about 8 places using hidden screws and threaded holes.
These do not have spikes but the tops are curved to a point, this would do considerable damage in a fighting / War situation, it also features a 25mm steel skull crusher pommel.
The skull crusher pommel can be removed and then you can take out the blade, you could then use the handle as a stand alone knuckle duster.
The double edged blade also has a small guard above the handle similar to those of swords or 1918 u.s trench knives.
It also has a leather Sheath.
This was the first trench knife I had ever owned and I am very happy with it, they are a great piece for my collection.

Dimensions :
Blade - 15.5cm  -
Handle - 110mm wide, 80mm high, 12mm thick - Finger holes are approx - 23mm wide and 30mm high, Skull Crusher Spike is approx - 25mm

  2. I did 2 tours in Vietnam: 68-70, and like to collect edged weapons too, and I throw the hawk and knife into a tree trunk target in the back yard. I like Cold Steel.com products. Would like to compare notes.
